1. Sealing structure
Metal hard sealing structure:
Ball and seat sealing: High Temperature Ball Valve usually adopts metal-to-metal sealing. The ball and seat are hardened, such as supersonic spraying, nickel-based spray welding, etc. The surface hardness can reach HRC60 or above, and the highest can reach HRC74 or above, to ensure wear resistance and sealing at high temperatures.
Valve seat and valve body sealing: Flexible graphite sealing rings or metal elastic rings are often used to seal between the valve seat and the valve body. These seals can absorb deformation caused by thermal expansion and ensure the sealing performance of the valve at high temperatures.
All-metal self-sealing structure: Under ultra-high temperature conditions, the valve body and valve seat adopt an all-metal self-sealing structure, and the elastic seal absorbs the uneven force caused by high temperature expansion to ensure the flexible operation of the valve at high temperatures.
Auxiliary sealing structure:
Disc spring loading: Some high-temperature ball valves use disc spring loading sealing auxiliary structure. The disc spring provides initial force for the valve seal and compresses the sealing ring between the valve seat and the valve body to enhance the sealing effect.
Automatic pressure relief function: Some High Temperature Ball Valves are designed with automatic pressure relief structures. When the pressure in the middle chamber rises abnormally, the valve seat at the outlet end can retreat and detach from the ball to achieve automatic pressure relief. After the pressure relief, the valve seat automatically resets.
2. Features
High temperature resistance:
The High Temperature Ball Valve is made of special materials and processes, which can withstand long-term operation in high temperature environments and ensure the stability and reliability of the valve. The sealing surface materials of some high temperature ball valves can withstand temperatures of up to 540℃ and up to 980℃.
Excellent sealing performance:
Through the design of metal hard sealing structure and auxiliary sealing structure, the high temperature ball valve can still maintain good sealing performance at high temperatures and effectively prevent medium leakage.
Wear resistance and corrosion resistance:
The ball and valve seat are made of high temperature resistant and corrosion resistant materials, and are hardened. They have excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, which can extend the service life of the valve.
Multiple drive forms:
In addition to electric drive, the High Temperature Ball Valve can also adopt manual, worm gear drive, pneumatic and other drive forms to meet the needs of different occasions.
Special function design:
Center cavity purge to prevent blockage: For media that are prone to scaling or contain particles, some high-temperature ball valves are designed with a center cavity purge interface to prevent blockage by liquid or gas purge.
Anti-static and fire-proof structure: The anti-static device is used to export the static electricity generated during operation. The fire-proof structure uses metal rings and springs to push the valve seat seal in case of fire to prevent the spread of fire.
Extended valve stem and heat dissipation design: The extended valve stem and heat dissipation structure are used to reduce the temperature of the valve stem packing to ensure the long-term and effective operation of the packing at high temperatures.
