Safety Valve is a device designed to prevent overpressure, serving as an automatic pressure-relief protection mechanism.
Inside the valve, a spring holds the disc closed. When the system pressure is below the set value, the spring force keeps the valve shut. Once the system pressure exceeds the set value, it overcomes the spring force, causing the valve to open instantly. When pressure is released to a safe level, the spring reseats the disc, and the valve closes automatically.
Applications:
Petrochemical Industry: Process pipelines, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) pipelines.
Power Industry: Boiler systems, turbine cooling systems.
